Diana Vicezar

Diana Vicezar

Diana Vicezar is a Paraguayan entrepreneur studying Computer Science, Cognitive Science, and Data Science at Pitzer College in Claremont, CA. She is a technologist with a passion for building projects and products that solve some of the most pressing problems in underprivileged communities.

She began her journey as a community organizer and advocate at the age of 16 after founding Mymba Rayhu, an international youth-led initiative focused on raising awareness of the plight of stray dogs and the importance of accessible environmental education.

Diana is a committed advocate for the international student community in the US and has served as International Representative at Pitzer College and is an active member of the International Student Association (PISA).

Passionate about making resources and career opportunities available to others, Diana created a career platform called Mapis as a way to help her fellow international students get internships and jobs in the United States.

Diana has been recognized by her hometown Asunción with the Youth Excellence Award 2018, named one of the 30 Most Influential Young Social Entrepreneurs in the world by the We Are Family Foundation in 2019, Youth Ambassador of Paraguay by the US Department of State, and received the 2020 Diana Award in memory of Princess Diana.
