Scott Kosch ’93

Scott Kosch is Managing Partner of Kosch Capital, which provides funding and liquidity solutions to early-stage ventures and lower middle-market companies across industries including energy, communications, media, software, hardware, healthcare, green tech, fin tech, and real estate. He has been involved in over 80 early-stage companies and several VC funds. Scott is also a Mentor with TechStars Austin and TechStars EnergyTech. Prior to Kosch Capital, he was a successful serial entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and management consultant.

Scott has an MBA in Private Equity Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Claremont McKenna College with a BA in Economics and Psychology. While attending CMC as a McKenna Scholar, he played varsity football and co-chaired the Claremont Economics Association and the Student Investment Fund. Scott previously served for five years on the Advisory Board of CMC’s Berger Institute. He resides in Austin, Texas, with his wife and two teenage children.
