Brittany Ruiz is a Partner in the Corporate Department at Latham & Watkins LLP, a global law firm with more than 30 offices, and is a member of the Capital Markets Practice Group. Her practice primarily includes representation of investment banks and issuers in public and private securities offerings, with an emphasis on initial public offerings and high yield debt securities. At Latham, Ms. Ruiz also serves as a member of Latham’s Diversity Leadership Committee, which oversees diversity initiatives firm wide, and is co-chair of the Hispanic Lawyers Group for the New York office.
Ms. Ruiz previously served on the board of directors for the Claremont McKenna College Alumni Association and in that role, helped to found the Texas chapter of the CMCAA and served as chair of the Class Liaisons committee. She is also a member of the Young Leaders Council for the United Way of New York City.
Ms. Ruiz received her B.A. in Economics-Accounting from Claremont McKenna College in 2008 and her J.D. from Cornell Law School in 2013.
