Staying Connected 2021 Pitch Competition

The Randall Lewis Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship is happy to announce that we will be hosting a pitch competition on February 19th from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM PST.

The event is open to the 5C’s, and participants can enter as individuals or teams. If you would like to be connected with other participants to form a team, please let us know in the signups.

The theme of this pitch competition is “Staying Connected” and is focused on innovations surrounding human interaction during or after the pandemic. Pitches can range from an idea to an in-progress startup and will not be judged on progress but rather on the quality of the idea and the presentation. They do not need to be focused on the pandemic, but they should be centered around achieving human interaction when circumstances are complicated. The theme is intended to be loose, so feel free to be creative! Each team will have 7 minutes to pitch followed by 5 minutes to field questions from the judges.

The winning team will receive $1000, and the second-place team will receive $500.

Any questions can be directed to Miles Bernhard (mbernhard22@cmc.edu). Signups will close either at 11:59 PM PST on February 18th or when the event is full, so don’t wait!
